Froedtert Health is seeking a registered nurse for our Menomonee Falls Surgery Center to provide direct and indirect patient care within a busy ambulatory setting. You will apply the nursing process, align with physician plans, and uphold policies to ensure quality and cost-effective care.

This role is on-site, 32 hours per week with a 0.8 FTE, shift 1, and includes a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Requirements include Wisconsin RN licensure, BLS, ACLS preferred, 1 year of Med/Surg/OR/PACU

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin or compact state

Job Summary:

Provides direct and indirect nursing care by utilizing the nursing process, determining the objectives of nursing care within the framework of the physician's plan of medical care, the patient's needs, standards of nursing practice, legal regulations and ambulatory surgery center policies and procedures. He/she will perform other related duties as needed to maintain department cost containment, efficiency, as well as quality of performance.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 1 year in Med/Surg, ambulatory surgery, PACU, or OR nursing is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 30 days of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
