Boston Medical Center is seeking an Ambulatory Services Representative II to coordinate patient access functions in the OB/GYN clinic. The role covers front desk duties, patient registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and related administrative tasks to support providers.
You will handle registration, verify coverage, collect copayments, and coordinate referrals while maintaining confidentiality and delivering courteous, patient-focused service in a fast-paced environment.
POSITION SUMMARY: The incumbent is responsible for coordinating all the functions and activities related to patient access including, but not limited to: front end customer service, patient registration, insurance/coverage verification, appointment scheduling, charge entry, billing and managed care, and a variety of administrative duties in support of department and providers (such as coordination of physician credentialing, handling phones & mail, filling out forms, filing, photocopying, faxing, preparing letters, reports, etc.). Compensation Range: $22.36- $27.26
