Job summary

UVA Community Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care in our ambulatory settings across Virginia. You will support care plans, reinforce education, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to promote patient health and wellness under supervision.

Requirements include a Virginia LPN license, a high school diploma, completion of an approved nursing program, and AHA BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Virginia LPN license required prior to onboarding.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory setting under supervision.
• Reinforce care plans and patient education.
• Document patient information in EHR.
• Assist with medications and therapies per competency.
