OU Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Medicine Clinic in an ambulatory setting in Mobile, AL. The role requires providing nursing care, collaborating with physicians, and ensuring adherence to OU Health values and care standards.

This full‑time, days position emphasizes efficient patient care and ongoing professional development. Applicants should have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, 3+ years of RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• 3+ years of experience in patient care as an RN.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required; specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align behaviors with OU Health values and nursing standards.
• Care for assigned patients or groups in ambulatory clinic.
• Document responses to care and medications and update physician orders.
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures as needed.
• Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary.
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions.
• Deliver care competently and seek coaching as needed.
• Resolve patient complaints per policy with support staff.
• Explain care plans to patients and families at discharge.
