Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring an Ambulatory Registered Nurse to support nursing care delivery in a fast-paced setting. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and safety.

The RN will participate in professional development, maintain licensure, and adhere to ethics while delivering high-quality care across the continuum. This is a PRN/part-time opportunity with ongoing patient support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides services
• Experience in ambulatory or hospital nursing settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and maintain high reliability practices.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure safe patient care and appropriate delegation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and compliance with policies.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
