Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an ambulatory setting. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and uphold professional standards to promote optimal outcomes.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and BLS certification, with about one year of clinical nursing experience; pediatrics and sedation recovery experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.

• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Pediatrics experience preferred.
• Experience with sedation/anesthesia recovery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs and outcomes.
• Uphold professional standards and evidence-based practice in ambulatory care.
• Support monitoring and recovery of patients prior to discharge.
