Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Willoughby Hills Family Health Center is seeking an RN caregiver to provide ambulatory care, perform health assessments, triage via telephone and develop care plans. You will administer medications, initiate CPR, and assist with procedures while documenting health education for patients and families.

Role requires RN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience; regional travel may be required, with a preference for BSN on orientation path within ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of recent RN experience.
• Pathway to RN from LPN/MA within Cleveland Clinic ambulatory setting may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, triage by telephone and plan care.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and equipment.
• Develop, evaluate and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel regionally to support physician clinics and procedures.
