Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an Ambulatory RN - PRN to provide professional nursing care in ambulatory settings in the South Russell, OH area. This role offers flexibility and a patient‑focused environment. The position features a Per Diem, variable schedule with pay of $41 per hour.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, medication administration, triage, and emergency support. Candidates should graduate from an accredited nursing program, have RN licensure, and preferably a BSN;

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in good standing.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum one year of RN experience; substitutions allowed for LPN/MA per caregiver policy.

• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or LIP of abnormal findings.

• Develop, evaluate, and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and procedures as needed.

What You'll Do

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.

• Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt, and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience

• One year of recent experience as an RN
• Will consider LPN, Medical Assistant, and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience in substitution of RN experience for current Cleveland Clinic caregivers

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
