Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital seeks an Ambulatory Clinical RN to lead the health care team in outpatient clinics and ambulatory services. You will apply nursing processes, supervise staff, and ensure care aligns with professional standards and organizational goals.

The role requires California RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and 1 year of clinical experience (2 years preferred). Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus for patient communication in diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current California RN license.
• AHA BLS for Providers certification.
• ACLS certification.
• 1 year of clinical experience required; 2 years preferred in hospital/clinic/home care settings.

Responsibilities

• Leads the health care team; delegates tasks and demonstrates accountability.
• Prioritizes, delegates, and supervises work assignments to ensure patient care activities are completed.
• Ensures staff provide highest quality of care in compliance with Nurse Practice Act and standards.
• Establishes collaborative relationships with physicians and other departments.
• Collaborates to resolve patient care issues, meet access demands, and improve policies and procedures.
• Supervises and maintains patient care and quality service standards.
