Job summary

SEARHC in Sitka, Alaska is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time ambulatory care role. The RN will provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic, administer medications, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Nursing, is licensed in Alaska or another state, and maintains BLS certification. Strong documentation and infection control are required for success in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alaska or another US state.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Clinical competency and high-risk competency validated on a schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care across the lifespan in ambulatory clinic settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with documentation in EHR.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policy.
• Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
