Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in West Palm Beach is seeking an RN for a Per Diem Ambulatory float role. Flexibility to float between locations and collaborate with care coordinators is essential.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience. This role supports transitions of care and may involve various diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of RN experience.
• Graduate from accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• May substitute LPN/MA or other unlicensed clinical experience for RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt, and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
