Job summary

SEARHC in Juneau, Alaska is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic setting. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The RN will administer medications, perform clinical procedures, ensure accurate documentation, and promote safety and culturally responsive care in a fast-paced ambulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Assocate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska or other U.S. state.
• BLS required.
• Case Management certification - preferred.
• Clinical competency within 3 months and every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized care plans.
• Implements and evaluates nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Administers medications and treatments per provider orders and policy.
• Recognizes changes in patient condition and escalates as needed.
• Provides patient and family education related to care, medications, and discharge needs.
• Delivers culturally responsive, patient-centered care.

Education

Associate’s degree in Nursing

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license - Alaska

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Clinical competency within 3 months and every 3 years
