Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• 1-2 years nursing experience.
• RN license required.
• BLS – Basic Life Support.
• Knowledge of SSH workflows and policies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead clinical staff and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day department flow and staffing.
• Escalates departmental and clinical issues through the chain of command.
• Implements new workflows and policies within SSH Medical Center.
• Completes medication and needle audits daily or delegates.
• Reviews the daily culture logs and shares findings.
• Serves as a staff nurse when assigned and coordinates handoffs.
