Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking an experienced RN for ambulatory clinic care within a Magnet-designated health system. The role emphasizes autonomous nursing practice, triage, and proactive patient management using EPIC workflows.

Ideal candidates will have an RN license in California, BART/BLS, and at least 1 year of ambulatory clinic experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Some shifts and locations may vary to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN License issued by the State of California.
• BART or BLS certification at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date.
• Minimum one year of recent RN Ambulatory clinic experience.
• EPIC in basket management for triage and symptom calls.
• Experience with EPIC patient scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous nursing care within ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance.
• Assess patient needs and perform appropriate nursing actions in ambulatory settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care outcomes.
