Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory RN to support the Outpatient Psychiatry Partial Hospitalization Program at the Main Campus in Columbus, OH. This 1.0 FTE position provides direct patient care in a pediatric behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities include assessments, planning, education, and collaboration with the care team to promote safe, effective episodes of care. Monday–Friday, day shift; no weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• Ohio RN license required.
• BSN within 5 years preferred.
• Three years pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and care planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a family-centered approach.
• Assesses individual patient needs and plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using evidence-based practices.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy requirements.
• Works closely with providers and other team members to ensure smooth clinic flow and positive patient-family outcomes.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
