Northern Light Health is seeking a Medical Group Practice Manager for the General Surgery Clinic at Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital in Presque Isle, ME.

The role oversees daily ambulatory operations, personnel, finances, quality of care, and regulatory compliance, partnering with hospital leadership to drive change. The position requires leadership experience in ambulatory settings, collaboration with providers, and a focus on process improvement to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in ambulatory practice preferred.
• Supervise clinical and non-clinical staff including hiring, onboarding, evaluation.
• Knowledge of billing, coding, charge posting, and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Supervision and development of personnel across the department.
• Assists with department coverage and monitors billing, coding, and charge posting.
• Lead process and quality improvement initiatives and regulatory readiness.
• Ensure efficient workflows with surgical staff and operating room personnel.
• Maintain compliance and readiness for surveys; develop action plans for staff.
