Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant for our new Health Center in Burbank, CA. You will perform exams, procedures, care planning and patient education, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include ordering tests, interpreting results, prescribing treatments, and maintaining accurate records. A minimum of three years in ambulatory/occupational health is expected, with NCCPA certification and ARC-PA accredited degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of clinical PA experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or ED.
• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Current NCCPA certification required; ARC-PA accredited degree.
• DEA license matching state of practice; state narcotic license if required.
• BLS/ACLS as required by scope of service.

Responsibilities

• conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans and records progress for continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests; collaborates with physicians.
• Prescribes treatments and refers to specialists as needed.
• Maintains health records and documentation.
