Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking an Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician to join a centralized Prior Authorization Clinic across West Michigan. The role focuses on resolving prior authorization requests and ensuring patient access to medications.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week with a day shift, requiring a Michigan LPhT and national certification (CPhT) or eligibility within six months of hire; a high school diploma and at least one year of pharmacy experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.
• Licensed MI Pharmacy Technician (LPhT) and nationally certified (CPhT) or eligible within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience; experience in multiple healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support centralized Prior Authorization Clinic for Trinity Health Medical Group practices in West Michigan.
• Resolve and appeal prior authorization requests; assist with medication access for patients.
• Provide support to ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed.
