Job summary

The Pharmacy Technician supports Pharmacists at MEDNOW AMBULATORY PHARMACY in NAMPA, ID, assisting with preparation, distribution and records for patient care.

Full-time, day shift. Idaho license and national certification preferred with under 2 years' experience. This role emphasizes accurate dispensing, math skills and clear communication with staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.
• National Certification (CPhT, ExCPT or equivalent) preferred with under 2 years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
• Assists the Pharmacist in providing effective drug dispensing services to all patients served by the MedNow pharmacy.
• Assists the Pharmacist in training Pharmacy Technician Trainees in the day-to-day duties of Pharmacy Technicians as assigned by the Director.
• Excellent mathematical skills required for the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for routine interaction with hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
