• Performs pharmaceutical calculations considering patient and drug characteristics.
• Enters prescriptions and patient information into the pharmacy system for pharmacist review.
• Interacts with insurance carriers to obtain payment for prescription claims.
• Operates cash register and dispenses prescriptions to patients.
• Triages phone calls and requests from customers.
• Delivers medications to assigned areas; assists in inventory control and rotation of stock.
