Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Technician to complete prior authorizations and refill authorizations for ambulatory care clinics across the system. You will assist with EMR data entry and support pharmacy staff in maintaining patient care standards.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1 year of pharmacy-related experience; professional licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or intern upon hire is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year in retail pharmacy or equivalent.
• (TSBP) Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete prior authorizations and refill authorizations for ambulatory care clinics.
• Assist with EMR documentation and data entry.
• Support teaching activities for Pharmacy Technicians, students, and nurses.
