Northwestern Medicine seeks a Pharmacy Operations Analyst to serve as the primary analytic resource for patient care. You will collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to monitor financial, clinical, quality, and operational metrics and to develop dashboards and reports.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, cross-functional communication, and continuous process improvement within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience.
• 2–3 years related experience in pharmacy or healthcare analytics.
• Illinois license with IDFPR within 60 days of hire.
• CPhT or ExCPT certification required for all licensed after 2008.
• Demonstrated excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent PC-based skills using Microsoft Products (Excel, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, analyze and interpret financial, clinical, quality and operational data from multiple sources.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date analytical documentation and dashboards.
• Conduct internal audits on prescription claims including 340B eligibility.
• Prepare ad hoc reports for management on financial, clinical and operational issues.
• Assist budgeting, variance analysis and target setting; participate in monthly variance reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and workflow; develop key metrics.
