Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 2+ years experience in ambulatory/admitting/patient registration & pre-certification.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead responsibilities: assist supervisor, train staff and model department values.
• Front desk operations: greet/check-in patients and visitors, answer calls, collect copays.
• Register patients: enter demographics, verify insurance, and process referrals/appointments in EMR.
• Schedule and coordinate: pre-visit scheduling, preauthorization, and MyChart activation.
• Support patient experience initiatives and maintain a clean, compliant work environment.
