Carle Health is seeking a Health Care Technician (HCT) to support licensed nursing staff under the direction of an RN. The role includes personal care, hygiene, and unit logistics to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CNA experience or training, and BLS within 30 days. The HCT will document patient data, assist with vital signs, glucose monitoring, and daily living activities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one nursing clinical experience.
• CNA coursework within past 24 months is preferred.
• Successful completion of Carle's HCT In Training Program.
• BLS certification within 30 days.

Mansioni

• Assist with maintenance of unit supplies (stocking, cleaning, ordering).
• Collect data on assigned patients and document accurately.
• Demonstrate competency in vitals, glucose monitoring, intake/output.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Prepare patients for transportation and assist as needed.
• Respond to call lights and provide basic care support.
