MedCurate, Inc. seeks an Anesthesiologist to provide safe, efficient anesthesia care for outpatient orthopedic cases, emphasizing regional anesthesia and multimodal pain management for rapid recovery and same-day discharge.

You will work with CRNAs, surgeons, and staff in a fast-paced center, performing ultrasound-guided blocks and comprehensive perioperative care while ensuring rigorous documentation and safety standards.

Competenze

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completed ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in anesthesiology.
• Board certified or board eligible by ABA or AOBA, with certification within the required timeframe.
• Current, unrestricted Maryland medical license (or eligibility via IMLC).
• Current DEA registration with a Maryland address.
• MD PDMP registration.
• ACLS certification as required by center policy.

Mansioni

• Perform thorough pre-anesthesia evaluations and determine patient suitability for ambulatory setting.
• Develop and carry out anesthesia plans including general, MAC, neuraxial, and peripheral nerve blocks.
• Perform ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia with single-shot and continuous catheters.
• Use multimodal analgesia and ERAS pathways to support rapid recovery and same-day discharge.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage hemodynamic, airway, and other events.
• Oversee postoperative recovery, discharge readiness, and management of pain and nausea.
• Collaborate with CRNAs, surgeons, and center leadership to maintain schedules and OR efficiency.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with CDS, PDMP, and related regulations.
