Job summary

USPI is seeking a Surgical Technologist to scrub for procedures and maintain a sterile field in the operating room. You will prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment while supporting quality improvement efforts and coordinating with the surgical team.

The ideal candidate holds CST certification, completed a Surgical Technician program, and has at least one year of experience; ambulatory surgical center experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program.
• Certification (CST) required.
• One year of experience as a Surgical Tech in multiple specialties or equivalent.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field during surgery.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Supports quality improvement activities and team goals.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and coordinates with physicians.
• Establishes and maintains sterile field throughout procedures in the operating room.
