Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist certificate required.
• Heart Saver certification within 60 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative case management includes preparing the OR and gathering tools.
• Intraoperative phase: pass instruments, assist with dressings, handle specimens.
• Postoperative: maintain sterile field and prepare OR for next case.
• Assist Materials Manager with supply inventory as needed.
• Occasional assistance to RN with physician orders and patient needs.

Education

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program

Certified Surgical Technologist certificate

Heart Saver certification (within 60 days of hire)
