Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Registered Nurse for PreOp/PACU at our Ambulatory Surgery Facility in Winston-Salem, NC. You will lead with compassionate care, coordinate nursing processes, and ensure safe preparation, recovery, and post-anesthesia care.

The role requires a BSN preferred, at least two years acute care experience for clinics, one year OR experience for ambulatory centers (refresher after five years), an active RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred for ambulatory surgery facility.
• Two years of acute care experience required for clinics; recent within 10 years preferred.
• Minimum of one year Operating Room experience or completion of a post-graduate program for Ambulatory Surgical Center; refresher if not in OR for 5+ years.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the perioperative continuum.
