Atrium Health Surgery Center Huntersville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time, day-shift position in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and maintain compliance with safety and documentation standards in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Ideal candidates hold an BSN, an active RN license, and must have BLS; typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience typically required.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the nurse provides care.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ethical practice.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and participates in care coordination.
