Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Full-time, permanent Registered Nurse - OR Circulator to join our ambulatory surgery center dedicated to orthopedics. Shifts are 4x10s or 5x8s, with start times at 7am; no nights, no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Connecticut state RN licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years of circulating OR experience, orthopedics preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with medical software and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgery and set up instruments/equipment.
• Verify patient identity and review procedures to prevent errors.
• Assess patients pre-operatively and provide comfort.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and sterile supplies.
• Communicate patient information with the team for safety.
• Monitor vitals and ensure patient safety during surgery.
• Coordinate post-operative care and room turnover.
• Document actions and care requirements.
• Engage in ongoing education to maintain competency.
