Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an OR Circulator RN for our busy ambulatory surgery center in Utah. The role involves coordinating intraoperative patient care, advocating for patients in the OR, and collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers and perioperative staff.

Schedule features four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday–Friday, with first cases starting between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM. No weekends or on-call requirements and major holidays are observed.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required; ACLS is preferred.
• Operating room circulating experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical environment.
• Strong critical thinking, communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in multiple surgical specialties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care during the intraoperative period.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to policies, procedures and evidence-based practices.
• Coordinate room setup and ensure necessary equipment, implants, and supplies are available and functional.
• Maintain intraoperative documentation in the EMR.
• Monitor aseptic technique and sterile field integrity during procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, anesthesia providers and team members.
