Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as an OR Circulator RN for outpatient ophthalmology, ENT, pain management, podiatry and orthopedic cases.

You will deliver patient care using the nursing process across preop, intraop and postop stages, and assist with turnover and case counting. Responsibilities include circulating in the OR, scrubbing if able, documenting thoroughly, and communicating with the team to ensure safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• One year in the OR as circulating RN.
• Ability to scrub is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the operating room for outpatient ophthalmology, ENT, pain management, podiatry and orthopedic cases.
• Scrub for surgeries if able to.
• Deliver patient care through the nursing process in preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
• Document patient information and communicate with staff for continuity of care.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist with surgical case counting and turnover.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current Registered Nurse License

American Heart Association BLS

ACLS

PALS

One year OR circulating RN experience

Scrub skills (preferred)
