Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MIP Clinic to care for patients receiving outpatient oncology treatment across Breast, GI, GU, Head & Neck-Endocrine, Radiation Oncology and Supportive Care clinics. Daily duties include triaging calls and providing individualized patient care.

The RN will use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team while upholding ANA ethics and hospital standards.

Qualifications

• BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience or ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with 1 year of relevant experience
• FL RN License
• BLS and ACLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient
• Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice
• Participates in professional development based on the nursing professionals standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations

Skills

Radiation Oncology experience

Outpatient clinic experience

Strong assessment skills

Flexibility to work until 6:00pm

Education

BSN (ACEN/CCNE) with 1 year experience

ASN with 1 year experience
