Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support the Medical Oncology Practice at Emerson Hospital. The role involves assisting oncology physicians and APPs in caring for patients across disease groups, including solid and heme malignancies, with 3–5 years ambulatory oncology experience preferred.

The RN will interpret care plans, assess nursing decisions, provide individualized care, and evaluate outcomes while ensuring safe, competent nursing practices.

Qualifications

• Assist in interpreting and implementing nursing plans for oncology patients.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Record vital signs and patient information accurately.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patients’ conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
