Job summary

UCSF Health seeks an experienced Outpatient Oncology Clinical Nurse II to lead and deliver direct care for an adult oncology outpatient population, focusing on head & neck oncology patients.

This role requires strong knowledge of cancer treatments, symptom management, patient education, and collaboration across care teams in an ambulatory setting. Flexibility to work at multiple UCSF Medical Center locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires three years total RN experience and one year oncology/ambulatory nursing within the last 3 years.
• Experience with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and managing related toxicities.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult oncology outpatients.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and use oncology nursing standards in patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate ambulatory oncology services.
