Job summary

University of California, San Francisco is seeking an experienced Adult Infusion Clinical Nurse II for the West Bay Outpatient Infusion Centers. The role delivers direct patient care to adults receiving infusion therapies in oncology, hematology, and related services, across Mt.

Zion, Parnassus and Mission Bay locations. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform comprehensive nursing assessments, and apply evidence-based care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, with weekend

Qualifications

• Two or more years of recent RN oncology nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years adult outpatient infusion and 6 months pediatric hematology/oncology experience.
• Experience administering infusions, pain management, transfusion therapy, hydration, etc.
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care; function within interdisciplinary teams and supervise related duties as required.
• Carry out established nursing procedures and support care for patients with complex needs.
• Maintain knowledge and abilities essential to perform stated behaviors and comply with Nurse Practice Act; report to Unit Manager for performance management.
• Demonstrate leadership and teamwork to promote high-quality patient experience and evidence-based practice.
