The ideal candidate holds a BSN, current RN license, and BLS. Applicants should have 3+ years in nursing, including outpatient oncology, plus 1 year travel experience. ACLS/ONS/ONCC/OCN credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in nursing
• 1 year of outpatient oncology experience
• 2 years of oncology experience (medical or surgical)
• 1 year of travel experience
• Current state RN license required
• BLS required
• BSN required
• ACLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), OCN preferred

Responsibilities

• Outpatient oncology nursing focus.
• Float to various clinic sites as needed.
• Perform patient assessment and triage.
• Conduct symptom and treatment-toxicity assessments.
• Coordinate care and patient education.
• Review medications and follow up clinical concerns.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing and treatment plans.
• In surgical oncology, provide pre/postoperative education, wound assessment, drain care.
