Job summary

ThedaCare Regional Cancer Center - Appleton, Wisconsin seeks an RN Clinical Nurse (Ambulatory) to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care in a collaborative interprofessional team.

Schedule is 8p to 4:30p with occasional 7:30p-4p or 8:30p-5p; no weekends or holidays; 0.2 FTE. Responsibilities include nursing process, care planning, and collaboration to improve outcomes across ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN licensure and BLS certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process and evidence-based practice to assess patient needs.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to plan and deliver care.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise across the ambulatory setting.
• Identify ways to improve patient experience and outcomes while controlling costs.
• Mentor and engage colleagues to retain expert clinicians.
• Provide consultation to physicians and team members to improve care.
• Anticipate and manage risk to prevent crises.
• Respond effectively in life-threatening emergencies.
