Job summary

ThedaCare seeks an RN Clinical Nurse (Ambulatory) to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum in collaboration with the care team. You will be accountable for safe, high-quality care within scope, while promoting innovation and professional growth.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and staff to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance the patient experience in an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and ADN required.
• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Ambulatory care nursing competency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process and interprofessional collaboration to assess patient needs and develop a plan of care.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet high-quality clinical outcomes.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise and provide RN-level care appropriate for the population.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient experience, streamline care, and reduce costs.
• Mentor and engage staff to retain experienced clinicians.
• Consult with physicians and team members to improve patient care.
• Proactively manage risk to prevent crises.
• Carefully perform in life-threatening emergencies when needed.
