Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist – Medical Oncology to join the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center. You will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care across inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on solid tumor malignancies and ensuring safe transitions of care.

The role offers collaboration with physicians, APPs, and nurses, with opportunities to lead education, quality improvement, and scholarly activities in a high-acuity oncology environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a ACPE-accredited PharmD or equivalent with licensure in Nebraska or eligible for licensure.
• ASHP residency (PGY1/PGY2) in oncology or 4+ years of relevant pharmacist experience in ambulatory/medical oncology.
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds for Medical Oncology inpatient services.
• Optimize chemotherapy and supportive care regimens; monitor toxicity and response.
• Provide direct patient education, therapy management, and longitudinal follow-up in ambulatory clinics.
• Lead quality improvement, education, and research initiatives within the oncology pharmacy program.
