Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the adult CNS Radiation Department and the Radiation Oncology Pediatric Clinic. You will coordinate care for adult and pediatric oncology patients undergoing complex radiation treatment and work with a multidisciplinary team to educate patients and manage symptoms.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with BLS/CPR, with preferred Oncology Certification and a Bachelor’s in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across the continuum of care for adult and pediatric patients.
• Assist providers with physical examinations and clinical evaluations.
• Administer medications according to protocols and standards.
• Utilize electronic health records effectively to support patient care.
• Prepare clinics for daily operations and patient visits.
