UT MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks a Clinical Development Specialist to advance nursing practice in ambulatory oncology. This role will lead education, competency, and professional development initiatives, partnering with nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care and regulatory readiness.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of supervisory experience, plus three years of clinical nursing with staff development.

Qualifikationen

• Five years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience, including staff development, education, or competency management.
• Three years of clinical nursing experience within ambulatory/onsite settings.
• Oncology-specific certification (OCN) strongly preferred and IV chemotherapy expertise is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Act as a clinical expert and advisor to ambulatory nursing leadership, promoting evidence-based practice and practice change.
• Design, implement, and oversee onboarding, residency, and continuing education programs; mentor staff and support career development.
• Lead annual competency assessment programs; develop tools, checklists, simulations, and remediation plans; close performance gaps with leaders.
