Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead the delivery of patient care in its Employee Health Offices across the network. The role focuses on maintaining nursing standards, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality care in a dynamic academic health system.

The incumbent will coordinate clinical activities, monitor budgets, and participate in performance improvement projects while supporting a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Joint Commission and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Strong customer service orientation and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate staff with prior lead experience.
• English communication proficiency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel between locations within the health system as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care activities within the clinic and supervise staff.
• Monitor unit budgets in collaboration with the Administrative Nurse/Medical Director.
• Provide oversight of nursing standards and clinical practice in Employee Health Offices.
• Participate in departmental and medical center performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for colleagues, patients, and staff.
