Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a Nurse Practitioner for an ambulatory OB/GYN role based in Boston. This per diem, on-site position focuses on obstetric and gynecologic outpatient care, prenatal/postpartum visits, well-woman exams, and reproductive health counseling.

You will assess patients, order tests, develop care plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver culturally responsive, equity-focused care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ambulatory obstetric/gynecologic care experience.
• Strong knowledge of prenatal/postpartum and reproductive health care.
• Experience with family planning counseling and contraception management.
• Current NP certification and MA APRN eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care including prenatal and postpartum visits.
• Conduct patient assessments and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and manage care plans; perform office-based procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, nurses and the care team.
• Counsel on family planning, contraception, breastfeeding and preventive health.
