Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Clinical Operations to lead administrative and clinical oversight across ambulatory clinics. The role partners with senior leadership to ensure safe, efficient patient care, regulatory compliance and continuous quality improvement.

The position requires a BSN, an active Florida RN license, and a minimum of four years in healthcare with at least two years in a supervisory role, including experience with burn and wound care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Florida RN license is required.
• Four years of progressive healthcare experience with at least two years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience with burn and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical oversight for patient care at all assigned clinic locations.
• Ensure the quality of nursing care within the department.
• Manage delivery of nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Write and update departmental nursing guidelines as subject matter expert.
• Ensure teams operate at the top of licensure and responsibility.
• Support budget recommendations and FTE/operational expense alignment with leadership.
• Foster cross-department collaboration to support quality, efficiency and world-class service.
