Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Current state licensure as an RN.
• BLS through AHA or Red Cross.
• Two years of recent RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing personnel and patient care providers in the clinical setting.
• Coordinate activities to ensure quality and safe patient care.
• Anticipate and resolve patient care and personnel issues.
• Maintain annual staff competencies and continuing education in conjunction with the clinical manager.
• Perform RN ambulatory duties as needed and collaborate with care coordinators for smooth transitions.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of personnel, annual reviews, and performance improvement.
• Participate in committees, task forces, and continuous improvement activities.
• Attend department leadership meetings and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assume responsibilities of the clinical manager as needed.
