Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program).
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Two years of recent RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing personnel and patient care providers in the ambulatory setting.
• Coordinate activities to ensure quality and safe patient care.
• Anticipate and resolve patient care and personnel issues.
• Maintain annual staff competencies and continuing education with the clinical manager.
• Perform RN Ambulatory duties as needed.
• Collaborate with care coordinators for transitions of care.
• Participate in committees, task forces, and improvement activities.
• Attend department leadership meetings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
• Step in as clinical manager when needed.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of caregivers and in performance reviews.
