Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Ambulatory Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) to lead system-wide ambulatory nursing practices across multiple sites in the Phoenix metro area. This executive will partner with campus nursing leaders to standardize practice, governance, and professional development in ambulatory settings.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, quality, safety, workforce development, and regulatory alignment to support high-quality patient care across HonorHealth’s ambulatory

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's degree strongly required.
• Experience leading across multiple sites or programs.
• Experience in integrated health systems with both ambulatory and acute settings preferred.
• Experience with shared governance, professional practice models, or Magnet-aligned frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align ambulatory nursing practice with enterprise standards and guidelines.
• Support governance structures and professional practice expectations across ambulatory domains.
• Collaborate with campus CNOs and system leaders to maintain unified standards.
• Provide coaching and operational problem solving to ambulatory nursing leaders.
• Lead workforce development and succession planning for ambulatory nursing staff.
• Support staffing models, workflows, and care delivery processes across sites.
• Drive regulatory alignment and risk management in ambulatory settings.
• Oversee quality metrics and patient experience indicators.
