Job summary

WVU Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional to oversee comprehensive primary care management in ambulatory settings. You will coordinate with medical specialty teams to develop patient-centered care plans and participate in resident education.

The role requires nursing leadership with CCNE-accredited MSN, APRN certification, ARCPA/PA credentials, and BLS. Responsibilities include assessments, planning, and documentation across the age spectrum.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as RN and APRN.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required with ALS training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for primary care patients in ambulatory settings.
• Consults and/or pre-procedure evaluations, acute visits and wellness visits.
• Develops a comprehensive plan of care with the health care team.
• Documents the plan of care, interventions and evaluations in medical records.
• Educates residents and medical/nursing students as part of team.
