Premise Health in Morristown, TN is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to join our health center team. The role offers 32 hours per week, Mon-Wed, 7:30am-6:30pm, with a focus on primary and urgent care for employees and dependents.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of primary care or urgent care experience and holds active NP licensure with prescriptive authority. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN and NP licensure for practice in the applicable state(s).
• State prescriptive authority and DEA license where required.
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
• Master’s degree in nursing; transcripts if certificate does not explicitly show nursing.
• Hands-on BLS certification; ACLS may be required by contract scope.

Responsabilités

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop care plans and document progress for continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed; maintain health records.
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
